It comes with no surprise that one of the most important aspects of Counter-Strike is your aim. Being able to quickly flick your crosshair to the next enemy and hit him before he hits you is the quintessential mechanic of the game. It is therefore important to not only play regular games, but to also train and improve your aim. You can do so by playing on the various workshop maps designed to help you refine your skills.

CSStats Training Map
Previously known as CSGOHUB before being updated to Counter-Strike 2, the CSStats Training Map offers various possibilities to train your aim.
Aim Botz – Aim Training
Already quite popular in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the Aim Botz workshop map is also available for Counter-Strike 2. On this map you stand in the middle of a small arena with bots around you. You can either simply practice your aim or complete challenges and compete on scoreboards with other players.

Recoil Master
Besides Aim Botz, map creater “Mr. uLLeticaL” has also updated the popular Recoil Master map for Counter-Strike 2. Instead of shooting BOTS the main focus of this map is to help you learn the various recoil patterns.
cs2_aim
Similiar to the CSStats Training Map from ESL the cs2_aim map also offers you the possibility to train your aim against BOTs. The advantage of this map is, that is less crowded and has a lower performance impact on your game while practicing. On the other hand it also does not have quite as many features as the CSStats Training Map.
Besides practicing on the various different workshop maps, it is also recommended to play other modes like deathmatch before jumping into a game. Just like in traditional sport it helps a lot to warm up your muscles and refresh your muscle memory before hopping in your next Premier or Faceit game.
