For many people, skins are a big reason why they stick with CS:GO, but not everyone likes to open cases. Not to worry, though: There are quite a few ways to get your hands on those beautiful weapon skins.<\/p>\n

Skins get wins \u2013 this age-old saying might not be entirely true, but at least they are nice to look at. If you play CS:GO and want to upgrade your weapon with some cool skins, then don’t look any further: In this article, we will list all the ways to get skins in Valve\u2019s Shooter.<\/p>\n

1. Weekly Level-Up Rewards<\/b><\/h2>\n

Once per week, you will receive a random item when reaching the next profile rank. This means that by simply playing the game, players can add quite a few skins to their collections. Unfortunate<\/p>\n

2. Use Third-Party Sites<\/b><\/h2>\n

Finally, you can always use third-party services to buy skins (like Skinbaron.de<\/a>). Many sites allow you to buy and sell skins for real money. This is especially useful if you want to turn an expensive skin into real money instead of Steam credits.<\/p>\n

3. Trade-Up Contracts<\/b><\/h2>\n

A feature that many new players don’t know about are the so-called “Trade-Up Contracts”. In CS:GO, it is possible to upgrade 10 skins of the same rarity to one skin of the next higher grade. If you are willing to spend money on a specific weapon skin, it might be worth a consideration to use the Steam Market. On the Community Market, CS:GO players will find pretty much any skin one could possibly desire. It is a safe and easy to use feature.<\/p>\n

6. Operation Passes<\/b><\/h2>\n

CS:GO operations, like the most recent addition \u201cOperation Riptide\u201d give players who buy the Operation-Pass the opportunity to earn a currency called \u201cstars\u201d. These stars can be used to buy cases, operator skins, stickers or to roll for skins<\/p>\n
