With all Regional Major Ranking (RMR) events concluded, 24 elite teams from across the globe have earned their place at the tournament. Here’s a breakdown of the qualified teams, their journeys, and what to expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tournament Format and Stages<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Shanghai Major will feature three stages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Opening Stage (Nov 30 \u2013 Dec 3):<\/strong> 16 teams in a Swiss format, with the top eight advancing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Elimination Stage (Dec 5 \u2013 Dec 8):<\/strong> Another Swiss system involving 16 teams, including those advancing from the Opening Stage and eight higher-seeded squads.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Playoff Stage (Dec 12 \u2013 Dec 15):<\/strong> A single-elimination bracket featuring best-of-three matches, culminating in the grand finals.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
