CS:GO and Valorant are the most popular FPS games right now. Both games give players the opportunity to customize their loadouts by applying skins to their weapons. Today, let\u2019s take a look at the key differences between Valve\u2019s and Riot Games\u2019 shooter.<\/p>\n

1. CS:GO vs. Valorant Skins \u2013 Differences: Price determination<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Valorant skins have fixed prices. Riot themselves choose how much a player must pay. The prices of CS:GO skins on the other hand are driven by the principles of supply and demand. Nowadays, some skins are 10 times more expensive than when they first came out.<\/p>\n

2. CS:GO vs. Valorant Skins \u2013 Differences: Animations<\/strong><\/h2>\n

When it comes to animations, Valorant beats CS:GO. Sure, in Valve\u2019s shooter, some knives have a special animation when you pull them out, but Valorant took it to the next level. If you have a level three Vandal Elderflame, your gun turns into a living dragon that incinerates your fallen enemies.<\/p>\n

3. CS:GO vs. Valorant Skins \u2013 Differences: Upgrades<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Many Valorant skins can be upgraded after you purchase them. That means you can buy the base version of a skin and improve it later on. This is a great feature for people who are unsure whether they like a weapon or not, but still want to pick up a skin.<\/p>\n

4. CS:GO vs. Valorant Skins \u2013 Differences: Trade-Up Contract<\/strong><\/h2>\n

CS:GO allows the player to use 10 skins of one rarity to craft one skin of the next higher rarity. This feature is called the \u201cTrade-Up Contract\u201d and follows very specific rules which some people use to make a profit. Unfortunately, Valorant does not currently have the option to turn lower-tier skins into better ones.<\/p>\n

5. CS:GO vs. Valorant Skins \u2013 Differences: Conditions<\/strong><\/h2>\n

To make every skin unique, Valve introduced the so-called \u201cfloat value\u201d to CS:GO. Each weapon finish is assigned a random number, either 0 or 1. The lower the number, the better the condition. This means that two AK-47 skins of the same type can look completely different. In Valorant, two Classic Smites will always look the same.<\/p>\n
