Valve is introducing the next phase of competitive play in Counter-Strike 2. Season 3 in Premier mode is coming to an end on January, 19th 2026. With it the transition into Season 4 begins. Alongside the seasonal reset, players will face a change in the mappool: Train will leave and Anubis is going to substitute it.
With this change, Anubis returns to the Active Duty map pool after only around half a year away. The map was originally removed on July 15, 2025.
To receive the Season 3 coin in-game, players must have at least 25 wins in Premier mode and an active rating by the end of the season. For every 25 wins, the coin gains an additional bar, with a maximum of five filled bars awarded for 125 wins. The color of the coin reflects the highest rating achieved during the season.
